Deviant Savant pushes visual boundaries invoking emotionally charged reactions that linger in the dark spaces of your mind. When I first came across the Deviant Savant Wazala store I knew this was something special. The art has a primal rawness and sensuality that is unique to our marketplace and is definitely worth taking a closer look. I always enjoy seeing life captured in its purest, candid form. Whether it be in a painting, photograph, or video the spontaneous, chaotic, and random moments of life are incredibly beautiful and precious. Drawing inspiration from the deepest recesses of the human mind, New York based fashion designer, Alex London brings unconventional techniques and fabrics to her newly born creation, Corvus Crux. Founded in 2013 Alex’s wearable art have been featured in some of the most influential fashion publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle. Long flowing fabric, high collars, low neck lines, and revealing backs give way to a sexy and sophisticated design that has gained the attention of A-list celebrities Taylor Swift, Anne Hathaway, and Amanda Palmer. Shortly after partnering with RAWartists.org I was introduced to the work of Brittany Guarino and it single handedly validated my feelings about the company as a whole. This was a professional artist collective that curates incredibly talented artists from around the world and the inspirational artist, Brittany was the premier example of that fact. On some level we all love the arts. Whether it be music, photography, painting, culinary creations, fashion, the list goes on. It’s no different here at the Wazala headquarters. Where I would say we love the arts a bit more than average, which is why our relationship with international art curator RAWartists.org is so important to us.
